Our lunch was at Tiki's Bar and Grill. We really enjoyed the view from our table overlooking Waikiki Beach. The cool breeze passing through the outdoor dining area makes this a great spot to spend an afternoon.
To start we share the Seared Ahi Salad. The Ahi was ligthly spiced seared to perfection, sashimi in the middle with a nice firm cooked crust. The soy based creamy dressing complemented the ahi and mixed green salad.
Next up was our appetizers. The specialty is the Prime Rib Poke'. Cubes of Prime Rib prepared cerviche style in Poke spices with a creamy drizzle over greens.
The deep fried calamari was awesome. Calamari coated in panko deep fried. The Calamari was tender and the creamy sauce with capers and the tomato and crab topping was decadent.
I had the Loco Moco. Awesome prime local beef cooked medium with a demiglace type sauce. It was covered with deep fried onions and of course two eggs over easy.
As always a great meal at Tiki's and of course nap time in the afternoon.
